Highlights:

Today was a rest and repair day. The mountains around Salida finally revealed themselves but only partially behind cloudy skies. It was just a glimpse of what I’m told is a beautiful landscape in the area. Andrea, my bike mechanic at Absolute Bikes, did a terrific job on my Salsa Fargo. She is ready to roll. With rested legs, I am itching to make some miles.
