Catalina State Park

By Robin

Arizona has some very fine state parks. We were glad to spend the last two weeks just outside of Tucson at the base of the Catalina Mountains. Perfect combination of time in nature, quiet, restoration and yet close to amenities.

We both feel mentally and physically rejuvenated. In addition, we had good enough internet to plot out our travel plans for the next few months. It’s like working out a large puzzle. Luckily I like doing puzzles!

Will update you on our plans in the next post. Meanwhile we leave you with some pictures from our stay in Tucson.

Yes… this baby scorpion was outside our RV. We also saw a bobcat and very large coyotes, but no pics to prove it.
